Lois Elaine Wooster Gopin

When I was ten, my mother gave me a paint by number set, and I was hooked. I love the way colors play with each other to make shapes and forms. I am still in awe after all these years to see how the right colors together glow and the right brush strokes make visible shapes. I want the viewer to look at my paintings and wonder how I accomplished this. How I could make a flat canvas look 3 D with just colors and brush strokes. I want them to feel a part of the process and never tire of looking at it.
